Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for Auralune (the "App"), an iOS application published by Auralune ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App handles and what we, the publisher, can and cannot see.
Short version
Auralune stores your period, symptom, ovulation, BBT and any other data you enter on your iPhone only. We do not operate a server, we do not run analytics, we do not embed advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect any personally identifiable information.
If you turn on optional iCloud sync, your data is encrypted on your device with a key that never leaves your devices and then stored in your private Apple iCloud account. Apple sees ciphertext only. We never see your data in any form.
Data the App stores on your device
Your cycle entries, symptoms, BBT, cervical-mucus and LH-test entries, sexual-activity entries (if you choose to log them), medication entries (if you choose to log them), notes, your PIN and optional Duress PIN, and your subscription state. Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest with Apple's CryptoKit (ChaChaPoly).
Data we, the publisher, collect
None. We have no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporters, no advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs. The App makes no HTTP request to any host operated by us.
Data Apple may receive
Like every iOS app, Auralune uses Apple-mediated services that may receive metadata governed by Apple's own privacy policy:
- StoreKit — Apple processes your subscription purchase and renewal.
- CloudKit (only if you opt in to iCloud sync) — Apple stores encrypted ciphertext in your private iCloud database.
- HealthKit (only if you opt in) — Apple Health stores the period / ovulation / BBT samples that you choose to mirror.
None of these include Auralune-the-company as a recipient of your data.
Legal compulsion
If a court were to compel us to hand over user data, our truthful answer would be that we have none of it. We have no records to subpoena. We have no logs. We have no backups.
Children
Auralune is rated 17+ and not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a minor has used Auralune, please contact us — but please note we have no per-user records to delete on our side.
International users
Because we collect no personal data, we are not a data controller or processor under GDPR or CCPA. Apple is the operator of any iCloud or HealthKit data flow.
Your rights
You can export your data at any time as an encrypted .zip file from Settings → Export. You can permanently delete all your data — locally and in iCloud — via Settings → "Burn all data".
