Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone, inside the system's Data Protection Complete container. Sensitive fields are additionally encrypted with CryptoKit. Nothing leaves the phone unless you turn on optional iCloud sync — and even then it is encrypted on this device first.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Without iCloud sync your data is lost (which is also the privacy guarantee). With iCloud sync on, install Auralune on your new device, sign in with the same Apple ID, set the same PIN, and your data syncs back from your encrypted private iCloud.

I forgot my PIN. Can you reset it?

No, and intentionally so. The master encryption key is derived from your PIN; without the PIN the data is mathematically unreadable. Tap "Forgot PIN" to wipe and start over.

What is the Duress PIN?

A second 6-digit PIN you can set in Settings. Entering it opens Auralune to a decoy calendar that holds no real entries. Your real data stays encrypted and untouched. We do not show any on-screen indication that a Duress PIN was used.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Auralune → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore purchases on a new device?

Install Auralune, sign in with the same Apple ID, then tap Settings → "Restore Purchases".

How do I burn everything?

Settings → "Burn all data" → type BURN → wait 5 s. This overwrites the local store, deletes your iCloud zone if sync is on, and removes every key from the Keychain. There is no recovery.

Are predictions reliable?

Predictions improve after a few cycles. They are estimates derived from your own entries and are not a contraceptive or medical advice.
