Charge ("the app") is built so that we, the developer, never receive your data. This policy explains what that means.
Nothing. Charge has no backend and no servers we operate. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," and that is literally accurate.
NSFileProtectionComplete encryption.Charger locations come from the OpenChargeMap public dataset (ODbL 1.0), bundled inside the app and refreshed with each app update. The app does not call OpenChargeMap or any charger network at runtime.
There are no third-party SDKs in Charge — no analytics, no ads, no crash reporters, no trackers. The compiled app links only Apple frameworks.
Charge is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control. You can delete all trips at any time in Settings, and uninstalling the app removes everything local. If iCloud sync is on, deleting from your iCloud removes it there too.
