I got a different daily word than my friend. Why?

You and your friend must be on the same app version. Each puzzle is generated from a SHA-256 hash of (puzzle type, UTC calendar date, app secret). Same version + same UTC date = same puzzle. If you updated and your friend didn't, your daily word may differ for one day.

My streak reset!

Streaks are stored on-device. They reset only if you miss a calendar day. If you flew across a date line and lost a day, that's the cost of the magic of time zones. We use UTC for the puzzle but local midnight for the streak window.

How do I restore my Pro subscription?

Open Settings inside Daily → Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that bought the subscription. If it still doesn't restore, contact us.

How do I cancel?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Daily → Cancel. Or from inside Daily: Settings → Manage subscriptions.

Is there a watch app?

Yes. After installing on iPhone, the Daily Watch app installs automatically. The complication shows today's progress. Pro / Pro+ required for the complication.

Will you add a hint button?

No. Pay-to-hint corrupts the daily puzzle promise. We won't add it.
