Terms of Use

By using Decode you agree to these terms. We tried to keep them human-readable.

1. License

Atrium grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Decode on devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard EULA: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

• Decode Pro is offered monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions auto-renew via your Apple ID until canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's policy: reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. What Decode is not

Decode is a communication-drafting tool. It is not a therapist, mediator, lawyer, or psychiatrist. The 3-layer decode and reply suggestions are heuristics, not professional advice. Use Decode as a thinking partner, not as ground truth about another person's intent.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Decode to:

• Coordinate harassment, stalking, doxxing, or coercion of another person.
• Generate replies that impersonate a real person without their consent.
• Reverse-engineer, redistribute, or rebrand the app.

5. No warranty

Decode is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that the engine's interpretation matches the actual feelings of any specific human in your life. Communication is hard; we're a tool, not an oracle.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Atrium's total liability is capped at the price you paid for Decode in the 12 months prior. We are not liable for outcomes that follow from sending or not sending a message.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after the change is acceptance.
