You and the members you invite all need to be signed in to iCloud on iPhone (iOS 17+). When you invite a member from Settings → Household, Apple's CloudKit Sharing creates a private share between your devices. Records appear within seconds when both devices are online.
Yes. Dog is also great solo — reminders, widgets, weight curves, vaccine reminders, training tracking all work for one person. You can later invite a sitter or family member.
Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, find Dog, and tap Cancel. The current period stays active until expiration. From inside Dog, Settings → Subscription → "Manage subscription in App Store" opens the same screen.
Dog uses Apple's on-device Vision OCR. Hold the certificate flat in good light. If the date format is unusual, tap Continue and edit before saving — the OCR result is a draft.
We're sorry. Inside the dog's profile, choose "Mark as memorial". Reminders stop, the dog stays in your history, and you can build a remembrance PDF album from every photo and log. You can exit memorial mode at any time.
Locally on your device with SwiftData, and (when household sharing is enabled) in your private iCloud container. There is no Dog server.
Delete the app to wipe local data. To remove the shared iCloud copy, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → "Apps Using iCloud" → Dog → Delete data.
