Open Settings → Dream and confirm "Speech Recognition" and "Microphone" are both turned on. If they are, restart the app and try again. If you have a slow internet connection, that's fine — Dream forces on-device recognition, so no internet is required.
Yes. Open the dream from the Library tab and tap "Edit" in the top-right corner. Saving the edit re-runs tag extraction on the new text.
Dreams marked Private are excluded from every aggregate view: Top-5 lists, trends, word cloud, co-occurrence, monthly mood, day-of-week, and the Year-in-Dreams snapshot. They still appear in the Library so you can read them.
Year in Dreams unlocks once you've saved 30 non-private dreams within the current calendar year. After that you can render and share the 1080×1920 snapshot any time.
Not in v1.0. We're working on encrypted iCloud sync for a future update. For now, dreams stay on the device they were recorded on. You can export Markdown or PDF from Settings → Export and move that file via iCloud Drive if you'd like.
Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, tap Dream, and choose Cancel Subscription. You'll keep the subscription's features until the end of the current billing period.
No. Dream extracts the literal words you spoke (people, places, common dream symbols) and counts them. It does not assign meaning. Interpretation is yours.
