Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of Brevity. The terms below supplement that agreement.
You receive a non-transferable license to use Brevity on any Apple-branded device you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store Terms. Brevity is licensed, not sold.
You agree not to use Brevity to send spam, harass other users, or violate the terms of service of any email provider you connect. Brevity is a mail client — you remain responsible for the messages you send.
Brevity is not affiliated with Gmail, Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo, or any other mail provider. Your relationship with those providers is governed by their terms, not ours. Brevity does not store your email — it stays on your device and on your provider's servers.
BREVITY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL CORRECTLY DELIVER OR FETCH EVERY EMAIL. Critical, time-sensitive communications should be verified through a second channel.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to Brevity will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Brevity's three-sentence summary is a convenience feature generated by an on-device language model. It is not a substitute for reading the original message. Decisions of legal, medical, or financial consequence should always be made from the original email, not the summary.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside.
If we materially change these terms, the in-app About screen will link to a new dated copy. Continued use of Brevity after changes constitutes acceptance.
