Inkmind is built around one promise: your mind maps stay on your device, in your iCloud, or both — never in ours.

Data we collect

None. Inkmind does not collect, transmit, or process personal information on any server we operate, because we do not operate any.

Where your data lives

Locally on your iPhone or iPad, in a SwiftData store protected by NSFileProtectionComplete.
If you turn on iCloud sync (Settings → Sync), your maps are written to your own private CloudKit container (iCloud.app.inkmind.ios). Apple holds this data on your behalf with their end-to-end encryption policy. Inkmind has no access to it.

Apple Intelligence (AI features)

Inkmind's Expand, Summarize, Reorganize, and Generate-from-text features use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework (LanguageModelSession). Your prompts and the model's responses never leave your device. Inkmind has no API key, no remote model, and makes no network requests for AI inference.

In-App Purchases

Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Inkmind sees only the receipt status returned by the StoreKit framework — never your Apple ID, payment method, or billing address.

Network calls

Inkmind contacts the following Apple services as needed:

App Store (StoreKit) for receipt verification.
iCloud / CloudKit if you enable sync.

It contacts no third party. There is no analytics, no crash reporter, no tracker. The binary links only Apple system frameworks, which you can verify with otool -L on the shipped Inkmind.app.

Children

Inkmind is rated 4+. No personal data is collected from anyone, including children.

Your rights

You can delete your local data at any time by deleting the app, and your iCloud data at any time from iCloud's data-management UI.
