Privacy Policy

Invoice is an iOS app published by Zhang Jiahao (Atrium Studio). The app is designed so that your invoices, clients, and generated PDFs stay on your iPhone unless you explicitly opt in to iCloud sync.

1. Data we collect

None — by default. Invoice has no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The binary makes no network call to any server we operate, because we do not operate a server.

2. Data you create stays on your iPhone

• Invoices, line items, clients, payment records, and PDF files are stored locally with Apple SwiftData and the iOS file system.
• Camera frames captured by the "Scan worktime sheet" feature are processed entirely on-device via Apple VisionKit and discarded as soon as the line items are parsed. Nothing is uploaded.

3. Optional iCloud sync

If you turn on "iCloud sync" in Settings, your data is replicated between your own devices using Apple CloudKit. The data sits inside your private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no ability to read it. You can turn the toggle off and your data will stop syncing; deleting the app and signing out of iCloud will remove the records.

4. Permissions

• Camera — only when you open the worktime scanner. Frames stay on-device.
• Photo Library (add only) — only when you tap "Save PDF to Photos".
• Contacts — only when you tap "Import from Contacts" in the Client editor. You pick a single contact; we never enumerate your address book.
• Notifications — only if you (as a Pro+ user) enable overdue auto-reminders. The notifications are scheduled locally; nothing leaves the device.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple StoreKit and Apple In-App Purchase. We never see your card or any payment instrument. We do not connect to Venmo, Zelle, Stripe, PayPal, or any bank API. When you "mark an invoice as paid" inside the app, that is a manual flag and stays in local storage.

6. Children

Invoice is rated 4+. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
