Lift is a strength-training logbook. We — Zhang Jiahao, sole developer, contact jasperabundant@gmail.com — built Lift to keep your training data on your phone, not on our servers (we don't operate any).
Nothing. Every category in Apple's App Privacy nutrition label is marked Not Collected. Specifically:
All on-device data is stored in Apple's SwiftData (backed by SQLite) with NSFileProtectionComplete. Apple's standard device encryption protects it.
If you opt in (Pro tier, Apple Watch required for read), Lift reads your heart rate during a session and writes one Workout sample per completed session into the Health app. HealthKit data never leaves your device or our app sandbox. We never read HealthKit categories beyond heart rate, and never write anything other than Workout samples.
If you enable iCloud sync, your training records sync via Apple's CloudKit private database (iCloud.com.atrium.lift) under your Apple ID. Apple, not we, hosts and encrypts this data. We have no access to it. You can disable sync at any time in Settings → iCloud → Lift.
Apple processes all subscriptions. Lift never sees your payment information. We see only opaque entitlement status (active / not active) returned by StoreKit 2 on-device.
Lift is rated 4+ and is safe for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. There is no social feed, no chat, no in-app communication.
Delete the app and all on-device data is gone. If you used CloudKit sync, sign into iCloud.com → Settings → Apps Using iCloud → Lift → Delete data, to also clear the iCloud copy.
If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top and explain the change in the in-app What's New.
