Privacy Policy

One sentence

Meme has no servers, collects no data, runs no analytics, and never uploads your photos or text.

What stays on your device

• Templates, captions, stickers, layer positions.
• Photos you pick from Photos for the Custom Photo template.
• Your last 50 exported memes (stored only inside the app sandbox).

What never leaves your device

Everything above. Meme has no backend. The only network requests the app ever makes are Apple’s own purchase-verification calls to buy.itunes.apple.com when you start a free trial or restore purchases.

Permissions Meme asks for

• Photos (read): only to load the photo you tap when picking a Custom Photo template.
• Photos (write): only to save an exported meme back to your library if you choose “Save Image” from the share sheet.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Meme never receives your credit-card information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Children

Meme is rated 12+ because some templates carry mild crude humour. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone of any age; the app has no account, no profile, no telemetry.
