Mileway is licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA") at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula, with the following additions.
Mileway offers four auto-renewing subscriptions: Pro Monthly ($4.99/mo), Pro Annual ($29.99/yr), Pro+ Monthly ($9.99/mo), Pro+ Annual ($69.99/yr). Each comes with a free trial (7 days for Pro, 14 days for Pro+) for new subscribers only. Subscriptions are billed by Apple at the start of the period and again every period thereafter unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage and cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Mileway records your driving and computes mileage reimbursement using the published U.S. IRS, Canadian CRA, U.K. HMRC, and Australian ATO standard mileage rates. Mileway is informational software, not tax or accounting advice. The IRS PDF includes a footer reminding you to consult a tax professional before filing. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you classify and the reports you submit to tax authorities or employers.
Mileway uses CoreMotion + CoreLocation to detect drives. Detection is best-effort; missed trips are possible (tunnels, system-level location restriction, force-quit, etc.). The "Classify" tab lets you add forgotten trips manually. The developer disclaims all liability for missed, mis-classified, or duplicated trips and recommends users spot-check reports before filing.
Mileway is provided "AS IS" with all faults. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties (express, implied, statutory, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Your sole remedy is to stop using the app and request a refund through Apple.
To the extent permitted by law, the developer's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant subscription period in which the claim arose.
You may stop using the app at any time and delete it from your device; the in-app "Delete all data" control wipes the local database and any iCloud copy. The developer may discontinue or modify features and (with reasonable notice) may end the subscription product itself.
These supplemental terms are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction of residence. Apple's Licensed Application EULA continues to apply for the underlying license grant.
