Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Mileway and confirm it's set to Always. Also confirm Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness → Mileway is enabled. If both are correct, open Mileway, go to Settings → Automatic detection, and make sure the toggle is on. A reboot of the phone occasionally helps after permission changes.
Mileway samples GPS roughly every 50 m while a trip is active and uses the haversine formula to sum segment lengths. Typical error vs. your odometer is under 3%. If you see a wider gap, please send us the trip ID and approximate route so we can investigate.
Mileway uses Significant Location Change and motion-triggered foreground GPS — it should consume under 5% over an 8-hour driving day. If you see more, please check Settings → Battery → Last 24 Hours for the breakdown and email it to us with your iPhone model.
Export your data from MileIQ / Everlance as CSV. In Mileway open the Reports tab → Import MileIQ / Everlance CSV → paste the contents. Mileway detects the source by header signature and maps columns automatically. (Available on Pro.)
It isn't auto-saved. When you tap Export PDF, iOS pops the share sheet — choose Save to Files, Mail, AirDrop, or any other destination. We don't keep a copy.
Open Settings → Privacy → Delete all data. Type DELETE to confirm. This wipes the local database, the iCloud copy (if iCloud sync is on), and all settings. It cannot be undone.
Open iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Mileway → Cancel Subscription. Apple handles billing; we never see your card details.
Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of the charge and pick the Mileway transaction.
Email jasperabundant@gmail.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a short description. If it's a detection issue, the trip date/time helps a lot.
