Persona is an iOS app providing AI companion conversations. It is not a medical service, therapy, legal advice, or financial advice. Conversations are AI-generated and may be wrong, biased, or inappropriate. Use your own judgment. For anything that matters — your health, the law, your money — see a qualified professional.
You confirm you are 17 years of age or older. Persona is rated 17+ on the App Store and gated by an age-confirmation screen.
If you are in crisis, please contact a real person. Persona shows local crisis hotlines under the lifebuoy icon and triggers them automatically when distress is detected. The app is not a substitute for emergency services. Call your local emergency number for immediate danger.
You agree not to use Persona to: produce content that is illegal under your local law; produce content that depicts minors in any intimate context; attempt to jailbreak or bypass the safety filters; deceive others into thinking the AI is a human; or extract and redistribute Persona's prompt engineering as a competitive product.
Persona offers two tiers (Pro, Plus) in monthly and yearly periods. New subscribers get a free trial (7 days for Pro, 14 days for Plus). The trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown until you cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Payment is processed entirely by Apple; Persona never sees your card.
If you provide an API key for OpenRouter, Groq, Together AI, Hyperbolic, or HuggingFace, you remain responsible for any usage charges that the provider bills to you directly. Some links in our BYOK setup are affiliate referral links — see the Privacy Policy for disclosure.
Persona is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atrium disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atrium's aggregate liability arising from your use of Persona is limited to the amount you paid to Atrium for Persona in the 12 months preceding the claim. (Because subscription payments go to Apple and Apple takes its cut, the amount Atrium received is typically a fraction of what you paid.)
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The Apple-standard EULA (auto-applied by the App Store) also applies.
If we materially change these terms, the version number above will increment and the in-app onboarding will prompt you to re-accept on next launch.
