Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-13
Pic does not collect personal data. The app runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad. We don't operate a backend server. We don't run any tracking SDK. We don't sell your data because we don't have any.
What stays on your device
- Photos you pick are referenced by Apple's photo identifier — Pic does not duplicate the image bytes.
- Saved projects (template + layer config) live in the app's local store, protected by
NSFileProtectionComplete.
- App preferences (e.g. tutorial-completed) are in iOS UserDefaults on this device only.
What Apple-mediated services we use
- PhotoKit — read access to your photo library and write access to save the finished collage. You grant or revoke this at the OS level.
- StoreKit 2 — Apple processes subscription purchases. Apple gives the app an entitlement receipt; Pic does not see your payment details.
- CloudKit (Pic Pro+ only) — if you turn on iCloud project sync, projects are stored in your iCloud container using Apple's end-to-end encryption. Pic cannot read your iCloud.
What we don't do
- No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Adjust, AppsFlyer).
- No crash-reporting SDKs that collect user data (no Crashlytics, no Sentry).
- No ad SDKs.
- No tracking.
NSPrivacyTracking is NO.
- No "share to cloud for AI processing." Rendering happens on-device with Core Graphics + Core Image + Metal.
Children
Pic is rated 4+ and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
