Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-05-15. Pray is published by Zhang Jiahao (the "Developer"). Bundle identifier: com.atrium.pray.

1. Data we collect

None. Pray collects no personal information, no analytics, no crash reports, no advertising identifiers, and no usage telemetry. The app does not require an account.

2. Data that stays on your device

Your highlights, notes, journal entries, reading-plan progress, streak counter, and meditation-play history are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData with NSFileProtectionComplete encryption. None of this leaves your device.

3. iCloud sync (Pro+ only, optional)

If you subscribe to Pro+ and explicitly enable iCloud sync in Settings, your highlights and notes are stored in your private iCloud database using CloudKit. This data is encrypted end-to-end by Apple and is accessible only by your Apple ID. The Developer cannot read it.

4. Permissions Pray does not request

Pray does not request camera, microphone, location, photo library, contacts, calendars, reminders, Bluetooth, motion, or health data access.

5. Apple-mediated services

Pray uses StoreKit (to process subscriptions) and Apple Push Notification Service / Local Notifications (for daily prayer reminders, only if you enable them). These are Apple services governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Children

Pray is rated 4+ and collects no data, so it is safe for use by all ages.
