Privacy Policy

Spine collects no personal data. The app runs entirely on your device and operates no server.
Camera
When you take a posture check, each camera frame is analysed on device by Apple's Vision framework and discarded from memory immediately. Photos are never saved unless you explicitly turn on photo retention in Settings; if you do, they are stored only in the app's private sandbox with file protection, and are never written to your photo library or uploaded anywhere.
What we do not do
No account or sign-in. No advertising. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No data is sent to us or to any third party. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
On-device storage
Your posture history is stored locally with SwiftData. If you enable iCloud sync (Pro/Plus), it is stored in your own private iCloud (CloudKit) container, which the developer cannot access. You can erase all data at any time in Settings → Privacy → Erase all data.
On-device AI
The optional weekly plan (Plus) uses Apple Foundation Models on your device. No prompt or output ever leaves the device.
Children
Spine is not directed to children under 18.
Not a medical device
Spine measures geometric angles for general wellness and posture awareness. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you have pain or symptoms, please see a healthcare professional.
