Terms of Use (EULA)

Effective 2026-05-15 · Subkeep 1.0

By installing or using Subkeep ("the app"), you agree to the Apple Standard End-User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA") at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These additional terms supplement the Apple EULA and apply specifically to Subkeep.

1. What Subkeep is and is not

Subkeep is a personal subscription tracking and reminder tool. Subkeep is not financial advice, tax advice, accounting software, or a regulated financial product. Subkeep does not cancel subscriptions on your behalf, does not negotiate bills on your behalf, and does not transact on your behalf.

2. Cancellation deep links

When you tap "Open cancellation page," Subkeep opens the provider's own cancellation URL in Safari. Subkeep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the providers listed in the app. Cancellation policies, refund availability, and the terms of your subscription with that provider are governed by your agreement with that provider.

3. Subscriptions for Subkeep itself

Subkeep's own paid tiers (Pro and Pro+) are auto-renewing subscriptions billed by Apple via StoreKit. Pricing and free-trial terms are shown on the in-app paywall before purchase. You can manage or cancel these subscriptions at any time from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

4. Data on your device

You are responsible for the data you enter into Subkeep. Subkeep stores it locally and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own iCloud private database. We do not have a copy of your data and cannot recover it for you if your device fails. Use the in-app "Export to CSV/JSON" feature periodically if the data matters to you.

5. No warranty

Subkeep is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the subscription detection is exhaustive, that reminders will fire in every circumstance (e.g. notifications disabled at the OS level), or that cancellation deep links will always reach a working page (providers occasionally change their URLs). Use the app's "Mark as cancelled" action to keep your records consistent if a deep link is stale.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to Subkeep is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for missed renewals, double charges, or other consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update these terms in future app versions. Material changes will be summarised in the "What's New" section of the App Store listing. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
