Tide predictions are computed locally from NOAA CO-OPS harmonic constants using the standard harmonic method. Sun, moon, and solunar values use public-domain astronomy algorithms. Tide and astronomy are physical phenomena; predictions are accurate to published NOAA tolerances but actual conditions vary with weather, atmospheric pressure, and currents. Do not use this app as the sole basis for navigation decisions.
