Why is my season classification different from a professional analyst?

Personal colour analysis is part objective measurement, part artistic judgement. Color uses the deterministic 12-season rule set (skin LAB hue, lightness, eye/hair chroma). A professional may weight signals differently and account for things a camera misses — natural daylight reflections, subtle vein-tone cues, etc. Treat Color's result as a strong shortlist, not a verdict.

Why does my result change between selfies?

Lighting is everything. Try standing near a window in indirect natural daylight. Avoid overhead fluorescents, mixed warm/cool indoor light, or strong make-up that masks your natural undertone.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, tap Color, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro features until then.

How do I restore a previous purchase on a new iPhone?

Open Color → Settings → Restore purchases. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID, your subscription returns immediately.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone, in a SwiftData store protected with NSFileProtectionComplete. Pro+ users can opt in to CloudKit sync, which uses your own iCloud account with Apple's end-to-end encryption — we never have access.

What happens if I delete the app?

Saved palettes and closet items disappear with the app unless you have Pro+ CloudKit sync enabled, in which case they reload when you reinstall and sign back in to iCloud.
