Long-press an empty area of your home screen, tap the + in the top-left, search "Lock", pick a size, and tap Add Widget. Then long-press the new widget, choose Edit Widget, and pick which of the widgets you built in Lock to display.

Long-press your lock screen, tap Customise → Lock Screen, tap a complication slot, and select Lock from the list.

Why does my custom icon briefly show "Shortcuts" when I tap it?

iOS only allows custom home-screen icons via Safari shortcut tiles, which run through the Shortcuts app. Every icon-themer app on the App Store works this way — there is no public API to replace an app's native icon.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Lock → Cancel Subscription.

I'm not seeing the latest weather in my weather widget.

iOS controls how often widget timelines refresh; weather widgets typically refresh every 30–60 minutes. Make sure Location permission is granted for Lock so WeatherKit can geolocate.

How do I share a theme with a friend (Pro+)?

Open Settings → Saved Themes → tap the theme → Share → pick Messages / AirDrop / Mail. Your friend taps the link, and Lock imports the theme.
