The app misidentified my plant. What now?
Tap Not quite on the result and pick the correct species from the search list. Planta remembers your correction, and the next time you take a similar photo it will match much more accurately. The more corrections you make, the smarter Planta gets at recognising your plants.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings โ Apple ID โ Subscriptions โ Planta โ Cancel. Apple handles the refund and renewal directly. We never see your payment information.
My care reminders aren't appearing.
Check iOS Settings โ Notifications โ Planta and make sure notifications are allowed. Care reminders are local notifications scheduled by your device.
Will my data sync to my iPad?
If you are on the Pro+ tier, you can opt in to CloudKit sync (Settings โ Diary โ CloudKit sync). Your plant data is stored in your private iCloud database. We do not have access to it.
Does Planta upload my photos?
No. Plant identification and leaf diagnosis run on your iPhone using Apple's Vision and Core Image frameworks. There is no upload path. We have no servers.
Where did the species library come from?
215 hand-curated species at launch, based on USDA and Royal Horticultural Society public references. Pro unlocks the extended library.
