I forgot my sealed eulogy. Can you recover it?
No — and we wouldn't if we could. Eulogies are encrypted with a key that lives only on your device's Keychain. If you delete the app, the key goes with it. This is by design.
Why won't my Sunday eulogy unlock?
Eulogies seal until 52 Sundays have passed since your first eulogy, or until December 31 of any year that has at least one eulogy. The countdown is visible on the sealed envelope.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iOS Settings app → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Stoic → Cancel. Apple handles all cancellations directly.
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Open Stoic → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to buy.
Where is my data stored?
Locally on your device, in Apple's SwiftData store. Optional iCloud sync (off by default) keeps a private CloudKit copy for cross-device. We never see any of it.
Will you add Apple Watch / Lock Screen widget?
Yes — both are on the post-launch roadmap.
How do I export my journal?
Settings → Your Data → Export all data (JSON). The file shares via your standard system share sheet.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Your Data → Erase all data. Confirmation required. The action is irreversible.
