Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Phase Premium → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. Apple's full instructions: support.apple.com/HT202039.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Phase purchase, and choose Request a refund.

How do I delete my data?

See Delete your account. Short version: Settings → Sign out & reset, then delete the app from your iPhone. All check-ins, voice notes, and Room messages are removed.

I lost my Phase data when I got a new phone.

Phase stores your data only on your device. If you set up your new iPhone from an iCloud Backup of your old one, your Phase data restores automatically. If you set the new phone up fresh, the old data is gone — by design, we never had a copy.

HealthKit isn't showing data in Phase.

iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Phase. Make sure each data type you want shared is enabled.

The microphone permission denied / I can't record voice notes.

iOS Settings → Phase → Microphone → enable.

The Pattern Report is empty.

The weekly report needs at least three days of check-ins from the current week. Free accounts see a monthly snapshot; weekly deep insights are part of Premium.

Someone in The Room is being harmful. What do I do?

Tap the ··· menu on their message → Report. Choose a reason. The message is hidden from your view immediately. You can also block the author. See Community Guidelines for what happens next.

Can I use Phase without an Apple ID?

Yes. Onboarding includes a Continue without an account option. Your data still lives only on this device.
